Component documentation

Component name - Name of the component.
Device - PWM device of the CPU.
Settings for Freescale HC08 derivatives SR12
- Starting phase - Initial value for mutual phase delay between output channels.
Channels - List of the channels.
One Item of the list looks like:
Channel - Channel of the PWM device.
- PWM timer - Pulse Width Modulator compare register.
- Counter - Name of the counter used by this channel (for information only).
- Output pin - Pin used for output of the generated signal.
- Output pin signal - Signal name of output pin.
- Period - Period of the output signal. It is necessary to type here both value and unit (see Timing Setting Syntax). The setting may be made with the help of the Timing dialog box that gets open when clicking on button (...).
- Starting pulse width - Starting pulse width. It is necessary to type here both value and unit (see Timing Setting Syntax). The setting may be made with the help of the Timing dialog box that gets open when clicking on button (...).

  - Starting narrow pulses - Initial number of narrow pulses which are equally distributed among the 8-period-cycle frame
Same period in modes - Period is exactly the same in all speed modes (high, low, slow). If you select 'Yes' timing will keep with tolerance 1 tick. If you select 'No' timing will keep with setting precision only.
Component uses entire timer - The component can use every subsystem of the timer, more actions may be done by HW instead of SW but no other component can share the timer.
Initialization - Initial settings (after power-on or reset).
- Enabled in init. code - The component is enabled after power-on or reset (in initialization code).

  - Phase control enabled in init. code - The phase control is enabled after power-on or reset (in initialization code).
CPU clock/speed selection - Settings for the CPU speed modes: if the component is supported or not.

- High speed mode - The component is enabled/disabled in high-speed mode.
- Low speed mode - The component is enabled/disabled in low-speed mode.
- Slow speed mode - The component is enabled/disabled in slow speed mode.
