Component
FreescaleHRP
High Resolution PWM
Properties:
-
Component name - Name of the component.
-
Device - High Resolution PWM peripheral.
-
Pins - Input/output pins associated with the HRP module.
-
TOP pin - Pin for the TOP output of HRP module
-
TOP pin signal - Signal name of the TOP pin
-
BOT pin - Pin for the BOT output of HRP module
-
BOT pin signal - Signal name of the BOT pin
-
SHTDWN pin - Setting of the SHUTDOWN pin of the HRP module. When enabled, a falling edge or a low level on the SHTDWN pin causes the TOP and BOT outputs to be
switched to logic 0 and the HRP module disabled.
The following items are available only if the group is enabled (the value is "Enabled"):
-
Shutdown interrupt/event - Setting of the Shutdown interrupt source. To enable the interrupt the shutdown input pin must be enabled. If enabled, the component functionality depends on the interrupt service and will not operate if the CPU interrupts are disabled. For details please refer to chapter "interrupt service in the component's generated code".
The following items are available only if the group is enabled (the value is "Enabled"):
-
Interrupt - Interrupt associated with Shutdown input (for information only)
-
Interrupt priority - Priority of the interrupt associated with Shutdown input
-
Mode select - This property selects between variable frequency and variable duty cycle modes of operation.
-
Period - Period of the output signal. It is necessary to type here both value and unit (see Timing Setting Syntax). The setting may be made with the help of the Timing dialog box that gets open when clicking on button
(...).
-
Initial Duty value - Initial Duty cycle value. It is necessary to type here both value and unit (see Timing Setting Syntax). The setting may be made with the help of the Timing dialog box that gets open when clicking on button
(...).
-
Dithering - Setting of the dithering mechanism.
-
Dithering steps - Number of dithering steps. The value defines the programmable modulus of the 5-bit dithering counter.
-
Clock source - Clock source used by the 5-bit dithering counter.
The following items are available only if the group is enabled (the value is "16-bit counter"):
-
Dead time - Deadtime generators automatically insert software-selectable activation delays into complementary output of the HRP. It is necessary to type here both value and unit (see Timing Setting Syntax). The setting may be made with the help of the Timing dialog box that gets open when clicking on button
(...).
-
Initialization - Initial settings (after power-on or reset).
