Configure Server Search List

 

This information applies only to the license of the type Named User (Network Activation).

On each computer that is to use network licenses, customer license servers must be stored in the server search list. One or more servers can be stored and the order for these can be defined. Network licenses are then searched for on stored servers in order. No admin rights and no restart are necessary for this configuration.

Procedure

Add a Customer License Server to the Server Search List

  1. Open the Vector License Client,
  2. Open Settings|Server Search List.
  3. With a click on the empty line you can enter a new server with IP or server name.
    Using drag and drop you can adjust the order.

Procedure

Remove a Customer License Server from the Server Search List

  1. Open the Vector License Client,
  2. Open Settings|Server Search List.
  3. In the line of the respective server, click on x.
    The server is now removed from the server search list.
