To update licenses on a license carrier (e.g., computer, keyman, Vector network interface) by means of a computer with internet connection, follow the procedure below.

Online License Update Procedure
- Open the Vector License Client.
- In the ribbon, click group Licensing|[License Update].
The Vector License Client automatically checks if updates are available for you.
- There are no new updates available. The log area will display the corresponding information. In this case, the procedure is completed here.
- The License Update dialog appears and displays a list of the currently available updates grouped by license carriers.
The colored icon to the left of a license indicates the status of the license.
Continue with the steps below.

Note
The list in the License Update dialog does not indicate the specific update changes that are available (e.g., incremented version from 11.0 to 12.0 will still be displayed as 11.0).

- Select the license carriers you wish to update. Do not close the Vector License Client during this step.
- Click [Update].
The dialog closes and you can see the progress of the update in the status bar.
You successfully finished the online update. Check the overview.
