Component FreescaleAnalogModule
Freescale Analog module
Component Level: Low
Properties:
(Properties are parameters of the component. Please see the Embedded Components page for more information.)
  • Component name - Name of the component.
  • Analog Module - Freescale Analog module. It encapsulate the two-stage amplifier and current flow detector.
  • Interrupt service/event - Component uses the interrupt service for the conversion. If this property is set to "Enabled", the component functionality depends on the interrupt service and will not operate if the CPU interrupts are disabled. For details please refer to chapter "interrupt service in the component's generated code".
The following items are available only if the group is enabled (the value is "Enabled"):
  • 2-stage amplifier - Enable/disable 2-stage amplifier.
The following items are available only if the group is enabled (the value is "Enabled"):
    • Analog module channels - List of input sources used by the analog module. You may add/delete an item with the +/- buttons and select the input source from the roll-down menu.
One Item of the list looks like:
Channel0 - Channel number that it is used as parameter "Channel" of the methods
      • Source - Internal or external source for the Analog Module. Internal source is only one (Internal temperature sensor).
The following items are available only if the group is enabled (the value is "external pin"):
    • 2-stage amp. DC offset - DC offset of the 2-stage amplifier for optimum analog module performance (0-7).
    • 1st-stage amp. gain - Define the 1st-stage gain of the two-stage amplifier in initialization. Gain value is defined from 0 to 15:
      0 - Gain=1,
      1 - Gain=2,
      :
      15 - Gain=16.
    • 2nd-stage amp. gain - Define the 2nd-stage gain of the two-stage amplifier in initialization. Gain value is defined from 0 to 15:
      0 - Gain=1,
      1 - Gain=2,
      :
      15 - Gain=16.
    • Prescaler - Setting of the Analog Module prescaler. It influences the conversion time of the Analog module. Set minimal value of the prescaler for optimum performance. First part of prescaler consists of the ADC prescaler therefore the ADC conversion time can be affected by this setting. The setting may be made with the help of the Timing dialog box that gets open when clicking on button (...).
  • Current flow detection - Enable/disable current flow detect module. The sensitivity of the detection is 9mV (0.9 ampere when resistor is 0.01 ohm).
The following items are available only if the group is enabled (the value is "Enabled"):
  • Initialization - Initial settings (after power-on or reset).
  • CPU clock/speed selection - Settings for the CPU speed modes: if the component is supported or not
For details about speed modes please refer to page Speed Modes Support.
