Constraint violations REFERENCE - ISO:C90-6.3.4 Cast Operators - Constraints

This is a constraint error

The operand of a cast cannot be a struct, a union, or an expression of "void" type or array type. Only expressions of scalar type can be cast to another type. For example:

MISRA C:2012 Rules applicable to message 0481:

Rule-1.1  (Required) The program shall contain no violations of the standard C syntax and constraints, and shall not exceed the implementation's translation limits
