The advanced search can be used to find devices that are physically connected to the user computer, but are not in the same subnet. All found devices are automatically added to the selection list and displayed.
Use the [Apply] button to set a new IP address and subnet mask for the selected device. If the device is then recognized by the Platform Manager as an available device, it is removed from the list of found devices in this dialog and appears instead under Connections in the Platform Manager.
