Update Licenses Basics

The command updateLicenses can be used to search for updates for all containers.

You have the following two options to update licenses on a license carrier (e.g., computer, keyman, Vector network interface):

Online Update Licenses: The computer on which you perform the action has an Internet connection.
Offline Update Licenses: The computer on which you perform the action does not have an Internet connection.

Note

Found license updates will be applied automatically. If you want to apply license updates selectively (i.e. for a specific license carrier), use the online license update functionality.

Notice!

You may change between the online or offline method at any time. However, you must complete each procedure by using only one method. You must not change the method during a current process!
