Dear Customer, The PODPAR diagnostic tool can be used to diagnostic fails when using the PODPAR parallel to PODBUS converter. The tool will only work on plain DOS or Windows95/98. It will not work on WindowsNT! Start the tool (with the PODPAR device attached) and select LPTx by pressing 1, 2 or 3. NOTE: The addresses are fixed assigned and the LPTx names may be different from the windows assignment. The address assignment is: LPT1 at 378, LPT2 at 278, LPT3 at 3bc. Pressing the 'i' or 't' button will execute the PODPAR access test. It should display "test passed." at the end. Pressing 's' will select the first device (on a new PODPAR this is the PODPAR itself). The 'r' function will read the ID of the device. On a PODPAR V.3 this is 55, an PODPAR V.2 it is 3c.
