Device - PDB Device module
Settings - Common PDB module settings
- Settings supported for Freescale HCS08 JE, MM, MP and ColdFireV1 MCF51AG, MCF51JE, MCF51MM derivatives only.
  - Load Mode - Load mode select
    
    There are 2 options:
    - Synchronized: PDBxDLYAH, PDBxDLYAL, PDBxDLYBH, PDBxDLYBL, PDBxMODH, and PDBxMODL registers are loaded into a set of buffers and take effect when the counter rolls over in continuous mode or trigger signal is received in one shot mode after logic 1 is written into LDOK bit
    - Immediate: PDBxDLYAH, PDBxDLYAL, PDBxDLYBH, PDBxDLYBL,PDBxMODH, and PDBxMODL registers are loaded into a set of buffers and take effect immediately after logic 1 is written into LDOK bit
- Channel 1 - Channel 1 settings.
  - Settings supported for Freescale HCS08 JE, MM and ColdFireV1 MCF51JE, MCF51MM derivatives only.
    - Output select - Channel 1 Trigger A-H Output Select.
      
      There are 3 options:
      - bypassed: Counter delay A is bypassed
      - Trigger A only: Trigger A is function of Channel 1 Trigger delay A only
      - OR function: Trigger A is OR function of all available channel outputs
  - Trigger A - Trigger A Settings.
    - Settings supported only if the selected PDB module supports Trigger Enable.
      - Trigger enable - Trigger A Enable/Disable.
    - Settings supported for Freescale HCS08 MP and ColdFireV1 MCF51AG, MCF51EM derivatives only.
      - Settings supported only if the selected PDB module supports Output Enable.
        
        Output select - Channel 1 Trigger A Output Select.
        
        There are 4 options:
        
        bypassed: bypassed
        
        Delay A only: Delay A only
        
        Delay A and Delay B: Delay A and Delay B
        
        PulseOut: PulseOut
    - Settings supported for Freescale HCS08 MM and ColdFireV1 MCF51MM derivatives only.
      - Back to Back - Trigger A Back to Back operation.
    - Trigger delay value - This property is used to specify the delay from assertion of input trigger defined in Input trigger select property to assertion of Trigger A.
    - Trigger delay - Trigger delay (for information only). This item is influenced by the following properties: Prescaler, Delay.
  - Settings supported for Freescale HCS08 MM, MP and ColdFireV1 MCF51AG, MCF51EM, MCF51MM derivatives only.
    - Trigger B - Trigger B Settings.
      - Settings supported only if the selected PDB module supports Trigger Enable.
        
        Trigger enable - Trigger B Enable/Disable.
      - Settings supported for Freescale HCS08 MP and ColdFireV1 MCF51AG, MCF51EM derivatives only.
        
        Settings supported only if the selected PDB module supports Output Enable.
        
        Output select - Channel 1 Trigger B Output Select.

        Delay B only: Delay B only
        
        Delay A and Delay B: Delay A and Delay B

      - Trigger delay value - This property is used to specify the delay from assertion of input trigger defined in Input trigger select property to assertion of Trigger B.

    - Trigger C - Trigger C Settings.
      - Trigger enable - Trigger C Enable/Disable.

      - Trigger delay - Trigger delay (for information only). This item is influenced by the following properties: Prescaler, Delay.
    - Trigger D - Trigger D Settings.
      - Trigger enable - Trigger D Enable/Disable.
      - Back to Back - Trigger D Back to Back operation.
      - Trigger delay value - This property is used to specify the delay from assertion of input trigger defined in Input trigger select property to assertion of Trigger D.
      - Trigger delay - Trigger delay (for information only). This item is influenced by the following properties: Prescaler, Delay.
    - Trigger E - Trigger E Settings.
      - Trigger enable - Trigger E Enable/Disable.
      - Back to Back - Trigger A Back to Back operation.
      - Trigger delay value - This property is used to specify the delay from assertion of input trigger defined in Input trigger select property to assertion of Trigger E.
      - Trigger delay - Trigger Delay (for information only). This item is influenced by the following properties: Prescaler, Delay.
    - Trigger F - Trigger F Settings.
      - Trigger enable - Trigger F Enable/Disable.

      - Trigger delay value - This property is used to specify the delay from assertion of input trigger defined in Input trigger select property to assertion of Trigger F.

    - Trigger G - Trigger G Settings.
      - Trigger enable - Trigger G Enable/Disable.
      - Back to Back - Trigger G Back to Back operation.
      - Trigger delay value - This property is used to specify the delay from assertion of input trigger defined in Input trigger select property to assertion of Trigger G.
      - Trigger delay - Trigger delay (for information only). This item is influenced by the following properties: Prescaler, Delay.
    - Trigger H - Trigger H Settings.
      - Trigger enable - Trigger H Enable/Disable.
      - Trigger delay value - This property is used to specify the delay from assertion of input trigger defined in Input trigger select property to assertion of Trigger H.
      - Trigger delay - Trigger delay (for information only). This item is influenced by the following properties: Prescaler, Delay.
- Counter - Counter Settings.
  - Prescaler - Determines the prescaler for the PDB module.
    
    There are 8 options:
    - divide by 1: divide by 1
    - divide by 2: divide by 2
    - divide by 4: divide by 4
    - divide by 8: divide by 8
    - divide by 16: divide by 16
    - divide by 32: divide by 32
    - divide by 64: divide by 64
    - divide by 128: divide by 128
  - Counter frequency - Counter input frequency (for information only). This item is influenced by the following properties: Prescaler.
  - Modulus - This property specifies the Counter period. When the counter reaches this value, it will be reset back to 'zero' on MCF51EM derivatives (to 'one' on other derivatives). If Continuous mode property is set to Continuous, the count begins a new round.
  - Counter period - Delay (for information only). This item is influenced by the following properties: Prescaler, Modulus.
  - Continuous mode enable - Selection between Continuous and One-shot mode.

  - Interrupt delay value - This property can be used to set value used to schedule the PDB interrupt. This feature can be used to schedule an independent interrupt at some point within the Counter period.
  - Interrupt delay - Delay (for information only). This item is influenced by the following properties: Prescaler, Interrupt delay.

  - Trigger to DAC - Trigger to DAC Settings.
    - DAC Trigger Output - DAC Trigger Output Enable
      
      There are 2 options:
      - Enabled: DAC interval register defines the number of PDB counts between DAC trigger outputs
      - Disabled: No DAC trigger output
    - Trigger interval value - This property is used to specify the time between DAC hardware trigger pulses.
    - Trigger interval time - Trigger interval time (for information only). This item is influenced by the following properties: Prescaler, Trigger interval value.
Pins/Signals - Module pins/signals settings.
- Input trigger select - Input trigger channel.
- Settings supported for Freescale HCS08 MP derivatives only.
  - Output pin - Enable/Disable allocation of the PDB Output pin.
    The following items are available only if the group is enabled (the value is "Enabled"):
    - Pin - PDB Output.
Settings supported for Freescale HCS08 JE, MM, MP and ColdFireV1 MCF51EM, MCF51JE, MCF51MM derivatives only.
- Interrupts - Interrupts settings of the module
  - Interrupt - Interrupt vector (for information only).
  - Only if priority supported
    - Priority - Interrupt Priority
  - Settings supported for Freescale HCS08 JE, MM and ColdFireV1 MCF51EM, MCF51JE, MCF51MM derivatives only.
    - PDB interrupt - Enable/Disable the PDB interrupt. The 'PDB interrupt' is invoked when the PDB counter register reaches the value in the Interrupt delay property.
  - Settings supported for Freescale HCS08 MP derivatives only.
    - Counter overflow interrupt - Enable/Disable the Counter overflow interrupt request. The 'COIE interrupt' is invoked when the PDB counter register overflows.
    - Delay A successful compare interrupt - Enable/Disable the Delay A successful compare interrupt request. The 'DAIE interrupt' is invoked when a successful compare of the counter value and delay A occurs.
    - Delay B successful compare interrupt - Enable/Disable the Delay B successful compare interrupt request. The 'DBIE interrupt' is invoked when a successful compare of the counter value and delay B occurs.
  - ISR name - Name of the interrupt service routine (ISR) invoked by this interrupt vector. The user code of the routine should handle all respective interrupt flags correctly. The routine must be implemented in the user code, it is not generated by Processor Expert. Find external prototypes of the ISRs in the component module header file.
Initialization - Initialization options of the module.
- Settings supported for Freescale HCS08 JE, MM, MP and ColdFireV1 MCF51AG, MCF51JE, MCF51MM derivatives only.
  - Load OK - Enable/Disable Load OK.
- Enable PDB - Enable/Disable the Programmable Delay Block module.
