Device Initialization

Device - IRTC Device module

Settings - Common RTC module settings

Clock settings - Clock/timing settings of the module

Compensation interval - Defines the window over which the compensation has to be carried out. Minimum interval is 1 second and maximum is 255 seconds.
A compensation interval of 0 disables the compensation logic.

Compensation value - Defines the number of Oscillator clock cycles the RTC requires to compensate for the specified compensation interval. A value of zero indicates no compensation is needed.

Compensation time - Shows time difference after compensation.
That value is influenced by Compensation interval and Compensation value properties.

Oscillator output - This bit controls the buffered RTC oscillator clock to be output from the RTC block.
There are 2 options:
- Disabled: Clock Output Disabled.
- Enabled: Clock Output Enabled.

Off-chip output - This bit controls the buffered RTC oscillator clock to be output from the RTC block.
There are 3 options:
- No clock: No clock is output.
- 1 Hz: Compensated 1 Hz clock output.
- Oscillator: Buffered Oscillator clock output.

BCD format - This property controls whether the read/write value of time and date registers will be in binary or BCD.
There are 2 options:
- Disabled: Registers read for Hour, Minutes, Seconds and Day displayed in Binary format.
- Enabled: Registers read for Hour, Minutes, Seconds and Day displayed in BCD format.

Software reset - Software reset clears the contents of alarm, interrupt (status & enable except tamper) registers and has no effect on DST, Standby RAM, Up counter, time, calendaring and tamper detect registers.
There are 2 options:
- No applied: Registers read for Hour, Minutes, Seconds and Day displayed in Binary format.
- Reset: Registers read for Hour, Minutes, Seconds and Day displayed in BCD format.

Countdown counter - This counter is used to generate an interrupt on a minute boundary.
Loading the countdown timer counter with 0 will have no effect. The countdown timer is decremented by the minute (MIN) tick output from the real-time clock.

Tamper Detect Duration - This property sets the number of oscillator clocks for which the tamper_detect signal should remains stable before being detected as a tamper.
With the tamper duration set to Zero any tamper detected on the tamper pins will directly set the tamper status & interrupt bits.

Tamper time - Shows time for which the tamper_detect signal should remains stable before being detected as a tamper.
That value is influenced by Tamper Detect Duration property.

- January: Chosen month is January.
- February: Chosen month is February.
- March: Chosen month is March.

- September: Chosen month is September.
- October: Chosen month is October.
- November: Chosen month is November.

Week's day - Week's day counter value.
There are 7 options:
- Sunday: Chosen day is Sunday.
- Monday: Chosen day is Monday.
- Tuesday: Chosen day is Tuesday.
- Wednesday: Chosen day is Wednesday.
- Thursday: Chosen day is Thursday.
- Friday: Chosen day is Friday.
- Saturday: Chosen day is Saturday.

Alarm settings - Alarm settings

Alarm Match - These property define which time and calendar counters will be used for matching and generate an alarm.
There are 4 options:
- Hours: Only Seconds, Minutes and Hours matched.
- Days: Only Seconds, Minutes, Hours and Days matched.
- Months: Only Seconds, Minutes, Hours, Days and Months matched.
- Year: Only Seconds, Minutes, Hours, Days, Months and Year matched.

Year - Year alarm value.

Valid values: January - December.

- No match: No match done.
- January: Chosen month is January.

Daylight saving - Enables automatic adjustment of time.
There are 2 options:
- Disabled: Daylight Saving changes are not applied.
- Enabled: Daylight Saving changes are applied.

Start month - Defines the month when the Daylight Saving has to be applied.
There are 13 options:
- No match: No match done.
- January: Chosen month is January.
- February: Chosen month is February.
- March: Chosen month is March.
- April: Chosen month is April.
- May: Chosen month is May.
- June: Chosen month is June.
- July: Chosen month is July.
- August: Chosen month is August.

ISR Name - Name of the interrupt service routine (ISR) invoked by this interrupt vector.
Note: The routine must handle all interrupt flags correctly. The routine must be implemented in the user code, it is not generated by Processor Expert. Find external prototypes of the ISRs in the component module header file.

Day increment - Enables RTC interrupt whenever the day counter of the real-time clock increments.
There are 2 options:
- Disabled: The 24-hour interrupt request is disabled
- Enabled: The 24-hour interrupt request is enabled

Hour increment - Enables RTC interrupt whenever the hour counter of the real-time clock increments.
There are 2 options:
- Disabled: The 1-hour interrupt request is disabled
- Enabled: The 1-hour interrupt request is enabled

Minute increment - Enables RTC interrupt whenever the minute counter of the real-time clock increments.
There are 2 options:
- Disabled: The 1-minute interrupt request is disabled
- Enabled: The 1-minute interrupt request is enabled

Second increment - Enables RTC interrupt whenever the second counter of the real-time clock increments.
There are 2 options:
- Disabled: The 1 Hz interrupt request is disabled

2 Hz - Enables 2 Hz interrupt.

- Disabled: The 2 Hz interrupt request is disabled

Alarm - Enables RTC interrupt whenever the alarm condition occurs.

- Disabled: The alarm interrupt request is disabled

Countdown Expiry - Enables RTC interrupt whenever the programmed count in the countdown timer has expired.
There are 2 options:
- Disabled: The countdown timer expiry interrupt request is disabled.
- Enabled: The countdown timer expiry interrupt request is enabled

Tamper Detect - Enables RTC interrupt whenever the tamper has been done to the system and security is compromised.
There are 2 options:
- Disabled: The tamper detect interrupt request is disabled
- Enabled: The tamper detect interrupt request is enabled

Sampling 0 - Enables sampling timer 0 interrupt. Interrupt is called with a frequency equal or close to 4 Hz.
There are 2 options:
- Disabled: The SAM0 interrupt request is disabled
- Enabled: The SAM0 interrupt request is enabled

Sampling 1 - Enables sampling timer 1 interrupt. Interrupt is called with a frequency equal or close to 8 Hz.
There are 2 options:
- Disabled: The SAM1 interrupt request is disabled
- Enabled: The SAM1 interrupt request is enabled

Sampling 2 - Enables sampling timer 2 interrupt. Interrupt is called with a frequency equal or close to 16 Hz.

Sampling 3 - Enables sampling timer 3 interrupt. Interrupt is called with a frequency equal or close to 32 Hz.

Sampling 4 - Enables sampling timer 4 interrupt. Interrupt is called with a frequency equal or close to 64 Hz.

Sampling 5 - Enables sampling timer 5 interrupt. Interrupt is called with a frequency equal or close to 128 Hz.

Sampling 6 - Enables sampling timer 6 interrupt. Interrupt is called with a frequency equal or close to 256 Hz.
