Component
Init_EEPROM for HC08
EEPROM Memory (EEPROM)
Properties:
-
Component name - Name of the component.
-
Device - Selection of the EEPROM device module
-
Settings - Common EEPROM module settings
-
Clock settings - Clock/timing settings of the module
-
Setting supported for Freescale AS60, AZ60 and AZ32 derivatives only.
-
Clock source - This property selects the reference clock source for the EEPROM timebase divider.
This item modifies the EEBCLK bit in the EECRx register.
-
Settings supported for Freescale AB32, AS32A, AZ32A, AS60A and AZ60A derivatives only.
-
Clock Divider - This prescaler is used as the divisor to derive a timebase of 35us (28.57KHz) from the selected reference clock source for the EEPROM related internal timer and circuits.
This item modifies the EEDIV[10:0] bits in the EEDIVH and EEDIVL registers.
-
Divider security - This property enables/disables the security feature of the EEDIV registers. When EEDIV security feature is enabled, the state of the registers EEDIVH and EEDIVL are locked (including this EEDIVSECD bit). The EEDIVHNVR and EEDIVLNVR non-volatile memory registers are also protected from being erased/programmed.
This item modifies the EEDIVSECD bit in the EEDIVH register.
-
Frequency - Real EEPROM frequency after clock divide (for information only).
Frequency is calculated using the formula: Frequency = frequency of Clock source / Clock divider.
-
Erase/Program mode - This property sets the erase modes.
This item modifies the EERAS[1:0] bits in the EECR register.
-
Settings supported for AS60 derivatives only.
-
EEPROM array mode - This property configures the EEPROM array in normal or redundant mode. In the redundant mode the first 256 bytes of array are mapped to the last 256 bytes. Reading, programming, and erasing of the first 256 bytes will physically affect two bytes of EEPROM. Addressing the last 256 bytes will not be recognized. Block protection still applies but EEBP3 and EEBP2 are meaningless.
This item modifies the EERA bit in the respective EENVR register.
-
Settings supported for Freescale AS32A, AZ32A, AS60A and AZ60A derivatives only.
-
Automatic termination of prog./erase cycle - When this property is set, EEPGM is cleared automatically after the program/erase cycle is terminated by the internal timer.
This item modifies the AUTO bit in the EECR register.
-
Protection - EEPROM protection settings group
-
Enable protection - This property is used to enable the security feature in the EEPROM nonvolatile register (EENVR). Content of the EENVR is loaded into the array configuration register (EEACR) after a reset. When the protection is Enabled then programming and erasing of secured locations $08F0–$08FF is permanently disabled. The EENVR is protected from further erase or program
operations.
Note: This feature is write-once feature. Once armed, the protect option is permanently enabled. As a consequence, all functions in the EENVR will remain in the state they were in immediately before the security was enabled.
This item modifies the EEPRTCT bit in the EENVR register.
-
Protect block 0 - 127 - This property prevent blocks of EEPROM array from being programmed or erased.
This item modifies the EEBP0 bit in the EENVR register.
-
Protect block 128 - 255 - This property prevent blocks of EEPROM array from being programmed or erased.
This item modifies the EEBP1 bit in the EENVR register.
-
Protect block 256 - 385 - This property prevent blocks of EEPROM array from being programmed or erased.
This item modifies the EEBP2 bit in the EENVR register.
-
Protect block 386 - 511 - This property prevent blocks of EEPROM array from being programmed or erased.
This item modifies the EEBP3 bit in the EENVR register.
