This component encapsulate the BEMF counter module. BEMF is the abbreviation for the Back ElectroMagnetic Force.

The BEMF counter integrates over time, while the input pin is active. This function is useful for measuring recirculation currents in motors occurring on switching of inductive loads.
The BEMF Counter runs at the internal bus frequency divided by certain coefficient. Whenever input pin is logic one, the counter increments by 1 with each period.
