A preprocessing directive has been encountered in the middle of a line. Preprocessing directives must always be located at the beginning of a line (although they may be preceded by white-space). For example:


/*PRQA S 553,2017 ++*/

#define A 1

#if A == 1 #define CCC       /* Message 0849 and also 879 and 899 */
/* ... */
#endif
