This is a constraint error

The operand of a cast cannot be a struct, a union, or an expression of "void" type or array type. Only expressions of scalar type can be cast to another type. For example:

/*PRQA S 2213,3132,3198,3199,3203,3205,3408,3447,3625,3631 ++*/

struct ST { int ai[3]; };

extern struct ST sta;

void bar(void);

void foo(void)
{
    char *pc;

    pc = (char *)sta;          /* Message 0481               */
    pc = (char *)(bar());      /* Message 0481 and also 0543 */
}
