Platform settings information

Platform settings are optional and may be used to add BSP constraints to the usage of a software component.

STM32Cube specifications define a set of Board Support Package APIs among which the BSP Bus and BSP Common driver APIs.

The BSP bus driver API that allows to export the transport functions used by the components IO operations. They can be shared by several IO operations of several external components.
The BSP common driver API that provides a set of friendly used APIs for HMI devices (Leds, Buttons, and Joystick) and the board COM ports. The BSP common services are defined only if the corresponding hardware is available in the board
The Unknown API comes with an advanced feature: it is possible to edit the IP and mode field to specify peripherals and peripheral modes other than the default GPIO and GPIO modes.

Api	Select the Api.
Type	Available only for Api "BSP_COMMON_DRIVER". Specifies the type, this implies a mandatory name prefix.
Name	Specifies the name of the Api.
Group	Choose or create a group where to store the Api.
STM32CubeMX Mode Table	Choose for which top-level components the Api shall be available.
IP	Select the peripheral to use.
Tab	Choose a tab where to store the new parameter.
Mode	Select the peripheral mode to use.
Help message	Specifies an help message.
Template list	Select one or more templates for STM32CubeMX to generate custom files: select default or custom template files, use default or custom filenames. STM32CubeMX will generate C project files (names and contents) accordingly.
